The prices below are for portraits in my standard sizes. If you have something different, perhaps a particularly large group you would like a painting of, please contact me so we can discuss your requirements and a quote.

Size Guidelines

Whilst the final decision as to the painting size you would prefer is, of course, entirely up to you I've put together some guidelines on which sizes of painting are most suitable for particular subjects or compositions.

• 10" x 12" - Head or full body study of a small dog or cat.
• 12" x 16" - Head study of a child, horse or dog. Also suitable for full body studies of medium sized dogs, cats and small group portraits.
• 14" x 18" - Head study of an adult, horse or large dog. This is probably the best size for small group portraits of head studies.
• 16" x 20" - Full body study of a horse or large dog. For groups of full body subjects this is the most suitable size.

Photography

If you're unsure about capturing the perfect pose for a portrait or you are having difficulty getting good reference photos I will happily come to visit you to take photographs myself. Over the years I've learnt what produces the best portraits so I'm always pleased to be offered the opportunity to take photographs, select a shortlist of my favourites, and then send them to you via email or CD for you to make the final decision.

Travel costs for photography are charged at 50p mile and apply to both the outward and return journey and these costs are added to your final bill. Of course these sessions are largely dependant on the weather and may have to be postponed but there is, of course, no charge if this happens.
